One of the most frequently asked questions during the initial installation of our 4000 series machines is the initial positioning of the lower and upper feed dogs relative to each other.

The following steps must be followed for adjustment.

The rearmost tooth of the 41326 upper feed dog should be aligned with the sixth tooth pitch of the 41305A lower feed dog (counting from the back). Then the synchronization adjustment of the upper feed dog is made as seen in our video.

Lower and upper feed dog height adjustment is made with 22707 bolt and fixed with 907 nut. The space between should be as thick as a paper. This space must be maintained and the paper shouldn’t be broken as seen in the video.
