Information Notice Regarding Security Cameras Located in the Service Area

This information notice has been prepared by Orsan Ops Talaşlı İmalat San. Tic. Koll. Şti. Salim Serim and Gökhan Serim, acting as the data controller, within the scope of Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

This text has been prepared in order to inform you about the purposes of processing your personal data, the legal grounds, the method of collection, to whom such data may be transferred, and your rights under the KVKK.

Security Cameras and Purpose of Data Processing

Video recording is carried out through a total of 58 security cameras located on the external façade of our service area, in administrative building corridors and offices, in the parking area, in front of the cafeteria, and in the warehouse.

These recordings are made for the purpose of ensuring the security of our service area, and the recording process is supervised by the administrative affairs and information technology unit.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

Your personal data in question are processed based on the legal ground set out in Article 5 of the KVKK, namely;

• “Processing of personal data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject”

and are processed through automated means.

Transfer of Personal Data

Your relevant personal data may be transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement agencies in the event of the resolution of legal disputes or upon request in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Rights of the Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 20 of the Constitution, everyone has the right to be informed about personal data concerning them. The rights of the personal data owner within the scope of the KVKK are regulated under Article 11 of the Law.

Method of Application

You may submit your requests within the scope of Article 11 of the KVKK regulating the rights of the data subject, in accordance with Article 5 of the “Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”;
