REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

EMPLOYEE CANDIDATE INFORMATION NOTICE

Dear Job Applicant;

This information notice has been prepared by Orsan Ops Talaşlı İmalat San. Tic. Koll. Şti. Salim Serim and Gökhan Serim, acting as the data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform, in order to inform you about the purposes of processing your personal data, legal grounds, collection methods, to whom they may be transferred, and your rights under the KVKK.

We do not have absolute control over the information stated in your resumes that you send to us or on the websites that mediate your contact with us. We recommend that you do not share with our Company any personal data or special categories of personal data that you do not wish us to know.

1. Which Personal Data Do We Process?

  • Your name, surname, date and place of birth, gender, marital status, nationality
  • Your email address, address, mobile phone number
  • Your health-related information if included in your resume (such as disability status)
  • Your education status, certificate and diploma information, areas of expertise, foreign language skills, abilities, seminars and courses attended, computer skills, exam result information
  • Information regarding your work experience (for example; sectors, companies, positions, responsibilities, salary received)
  • Your photograph
  • Your driver’s license information
  • Information regarding your hobbies
  • Your salary expectation
  • Your military service status
  • Your reference information (name and surname of the reference person, title, workplace, contact details)
  • Other information that you have voluntarily added to your resume and that we cannot foresee

The personal data listed above are processed in accordance with the KVKK.

Your personal data may be stored by Orsan Ops Talaşlı İmalat San. Tic. Koll. Şti. Salim Serim and Gökhan Serim for up to 1 year if your job application is not approved, and for up to 10 years following your departure from the workplace if your application is approved.

2. For What Purposes Do We Process Your Personal Data?

Your personal data are processed for the purposes listed below in order to carry out the employment services provided to you:

  • Managing your job application process
  • Being able to contact you
  • Determining whether you have sufficient qualifications for the position offered
  • Contacting your references to assess your suitability for the job
  • Determining your desired position, salary expectations, availability for other positions, and start date
  • Determining whether you can use company vehicles when required
  • Determining age suitability and ensuring compliance with the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles of Employing Child and Young Workers
  • Ensuring that you can be easily remembered by our human resources department during interviews
  • Establishing communication with the job applicant and preparing the personnel file in the event of employment
  • Determining whether there is any condition that may interrupt your employment during the term of the employment contract and ensuring compliance with Article 75 of the Military Penal Code No. 1632

3. By Which Methods and on What Legal Grounds Do We Process Your Personal Data?

Your personal data are processed, subject to your explicit consent, or based on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:

  • Processing being mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation
  • Processing being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller
  • Processing being necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party

Your personal data are processed through automatic (for example, being automatically sent to our systems via the internet) or non-automatic means (for example, noting information you provide to us by phone).

4. To Whom and for What Purposes Do We Transfer Your Personal Data?

Your personal data may be transferred, based on your explicit consent, to our group companies for the purposes of conducting human resources activities and evaluating your job application for employment within our group companies, and to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement agencies in the event of legal disputes or as required by applicable legislation.

5. What Are Your Rights Regarding the Processing of Personal Data and How Can You Exercise Them?

You may submit your requests regarding your rights set out in Article 11 of the KVKK in accordance with Article 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller by submitting them in writing to
